Milton Wong, 1939 – 2011

I'm so sad to hear former Simon Fraser University chancellor Milton Wong passed away. He served as SFU chancellor from 1999 until 2005 and was a constant presence on campus. Milton Wong drove new programs concerning dialogue, First Nations capacity-building, environmental sustainability, biotechnology, and contemporary arts. He'll be greatly missed by all those connected to SFU and by British Columbians. Read more about his incredible life here in this CBC article.
